About Caitlin

Caitlin Gildrien is a poet, artist, and graphic/interactive designer living in rural Vermont. Before (and occasionally alongside) a career in graphic design, she worked making lattes, washing dishes, waiting tables, filing obituaries, making donuts, making crepes, feeding orphaned birds, assisting veterinary surgeries, serving food to Zen monks, training to be a Zen monk, making more lattes, and running an organic vegetable farm.

In graphic design, she has worked extensively in both print and digital, including book design, marketing collateral, web maintenance, and interactive design & coding of virtual labs and learning games. She’s been called the “team ninja” — you know when you get stuck on a project and you need somebody to rappel down from the ceiling and figure it out? Like that. (But generally, alas, without the rappelling.)

For joy and sanity, she writes poetry and makes visual art.
