Specs & Deets
Step 1
Tell us about your product! 📣
Fill out the interest form & if it seems like a good fit, we’ll be in touch for a sample. Keep the following guidelines in mind:
Small slots: 1-2 inches wide, 3-6 inches tall, up to 1 inch deep
Large Slots: 3-5 inches wide, 3-7 inches tall, up to 2 inches deep
Packaging: Objects must be fully contained, as loose pieces may get caught on the way down. Products with some rigidity and some weight tend to work best. Packaging should make obvious what’s inside —remember that customers can’t pick it up or look closely. Include your name and information somewhere as well!
Pricing: Everything is priced between $5 and $25, to make art accessible & fun (and to ensure a little profit after taxes and fees).
Step 2
Testing ☑️
Gotta make sure it vends! We’ll test a sample of your product to be sure it goes smoothly through the machine. (We can work together to troubleshoot if it doesn’t!)
Step 3
Vend away! 🥳
We’ll take 10-20 units for an initial trial. For our first run, consignment rates will be 75% to you, 25% for our costs. You’ll be paid when your product sells out. Three months after launch, we’ll reevaluate costs and adjust the consignment as necessary to keep the project sustainable.
